After Care

Keep those bad boys nice n' clean

With everything in life, things need to be kept well and looked after in order to maintain its quality and its value to you. So we understand, as important as it is for us to finesse our work to the levels we do, it's equally as important to preserve and maintain that quality.

It's not always convenient or possible to come in so frequently, so we are always trying to find and test new ways for you to help maintain it outside of our reach.

  • Eat with your grills

It's more common than you think. If you swallow your set, that's on you, (or rather in you). There isn't much we can do to help unfortunately.

  • Drink! Water is an exception.

No Alcohol/Fizzy/Juice ... The sugar will contribute to pieces tarnishing, especially sets with stones/diamonds; It will cause stones to become darker than others and the only way to clean this problem is to replace them.

  • Wrap them in tissue or anywhere else that isn't your grills box!

We provide you with a box to keep your set in, use it! There are too many cases of people using tissue to "keep them safe in" and end up throwing the tissue away at some point. If it's not you, someone will.

  • Smoke

Another key player in the contribution to tarnishing sets quicker. Smoking also delivers the way results as drinking Alcohol.

  • Soft Tooth Brush + Dishwashing Liquid

Soft Tooth Brush (Baby's tooth brush softness reference)

Warm Water + (Pea Size) Fairy Liquid.

(Think of it like your brushing your own teeth, that just happens to be removable from your mouth)

But be sure to only brush on the inside of your caps, otherwise you run the risk of creating your own scratch marks on your cap. Nothing to worry about if this happens, just simply bring it back to us to get a proper polish and buff for it to look as good as new.

  • Microfibre Cloth

If you want to be extra like us, get yourself a nice quality microfibre cloth, and use that to give your grills a wipe (mainly for the outside) to help get rid of those destructive oil fingerprints and dust.

  • Steradent

    Google.

Just search for this lil bad boy online. We advise when using this method, to only soak your grills with this for 2 minutes. NEVER leave it in overnight, this will cause the metal to react and tarnish!

Don't panic if you have done this, just give us a call and pop on by and we'll be able to clean it up properly.
